WESSA

WESSA

Throughout the 85 year history of WESSA, the conservation of water has always been a key issue and a concern for WESSA as an environmental NGO.    In recent years, our concerns regarding the management of our limited water resources have increased as increasingly information on the compromised state of much of our water, the huge impacts industry and mining have on groundwater in particular,  the challenges of living in a water-stressed country and the real challenge of supplying clean, healthy and adequate water to all South Africans become known.
